OKies Just a little update~

To my beloved watchers...

Due to all the X-mas gifts/AOH stuff/SS I have to submit into my gallery, I apologize in advance for spamming your inboxes > < I know I usually leave a > 3 days period between submissions but I can't do that these 2 weeks ; w ;. It'd be nice if you could still check out my stuff tho > <

But good news! I finished all of my 4 secret santas and now I'm just waiting to post * 3 *

Storyline:
I'm currently brainstorming a new storyline and in it, I'm recycling old characters. Recycling characters means that you made a character in the past for a plot you're no longer using, so now u can stick him in a new plot! IT's hella fun.

Lucas, whom I'm using for AOHC, actually comes from this new storyline. See the resemblance? 8DDD

It will be a story about an ambitious and affluent teacher who has to mold a bunch of poor delinquents into a formidable decathlon team XDDD.
(I assure you there will be no emocrapangsttrains or gay involved...we have enough of that on the web already.)

But it's only in the thought process and I'm not going to start the comic until i finish RPS...YES IM DEDICATED D<. But just a heads up...that I might draw art of it 8DDDD

[Since this is a rant, there will be very strong emotions in the following content because I'm trying to vent. It is in no way directed towards anyone. I mean no harm]

Ok....I'm usually extremely lenient when it comes to word usages but one word has really ticked me off...

legit.

It's not that I'm opposed to new slang but 'legit' is one of the stupidest words ever thought up by our generation. If legit was used as a shorter way of saying legitimate, like it's supposed to, then that's alright. But ppl have changed it into a word meaning "cool" and they sound douchey when they say it.

"Hey Bob, Like my shirt?"
"Whoa! That shirt is legit!"

NO D< That shirt is not legit. It may be cool. It may be awesome but it, in no way, is "in accordance with law or with established legal forms and requirements" like legit implies.


I'm fine with words changing meanings but 'legit' just sounds fucking stupid especially when you have lil retards who think they're all smart and shit, going "ZOMG that banana is epically legit" ksdjl sdjlfk!!

Like I said, I'm not treating this as a class action case for all slang words changing meaning...I just specifically hate the word 'legit'.

Ok Next Rant topic: ANGST

SHIT D< Ok...I hate it when writers, mangakas etc. try to use angsty pasts to supplement a character's personality.

EXPLICIT ANGST DOES NOT CONTRIBUTE TO A STORY...
Abusive Parents + RAPE + Poverty + emotional abuse =/= Character with deep emotions. It just makes them a heaping pile of emo baggage. IT does NOT add to their characters at all or make them more "realistic".


I don't mind characters with like only 1 aspect of angst like
-their parents died
or
-they're poor
or
-ppl at school hate them


BUT ITS WHEN YOU STRING ALL OF THESE TOGETHER THAT U CREATE AN EMO TRAIN OF CRAP D< IT IS NOT DEEP. IT IS NOT CREATIVE. IT IS OVERKILL.

ZOMG writing letters is so much funnnnnn~!!! 8DD

I have super cute stationary and tiny gifts that I want to send out as Xmas letters...which can continue on as a pen pal sort of thing <3333

So if you'd like to be my penpal, just note me with all your info and address and we'll get started~!

But I only want to send letters out to ppl I know on DA (meaning ppl on my friend's list, active watchers, ppl who i talk to regularly...etc. You should know who you are!

It's nothing personal, it's just that I want to be able to know the person a little bit first online before I send them a letter.
